Alumnus of B.sc Computer Science 2003 batch, Ms. Sowmya Sastry has over 18 years of experience in Library Management and Administration function and is presently serving at mLAC as Incharge Librarian.Her interest towards Library activities has aroused her to achieve Bachelors and Master in library and information science and M Phil in Library Science.

Sowmya with her knowledge and skill has aided in building a strong library service system with practice of classifying, cataloging library assets and implementation of e-library digital aspects. Her mastering of new skills gave the opportunity to learn software programs like EASYLIB, Koha Database System, Lybsis. MARC21, Dublin Core are some of the acclaim.

Adding to her skills and knowledge, She is also a key member of the IQAC team.
